Onboarding Specialist

Thomasville, GA | $13.00 - $18.00 / Hour

New Hire Solutions is seeking an onboarding specialist to review processing paperwork, review medical paperwork, pull backgrounds and e-verify, and handle drug screens for our Thomasville office branch location.

Responsibilities

• Review processing and medical paperwork for employees
• Conduct and review pre-employment screenings, including background checks, Motor Vehicle Reports, credit checks, and education verifications
• Continual and frequent contact with client companies and employees regarding open job order updates and onboarding processes
• Ensure all onboarding requirements and checklists are completed
• Process and maintain compliance with E-verify procedures
• Provide support to the recruiting team as needed
• Continuous updating of applicant database
• Upkeep of job order boards with applicant names and other pertinent details
• Serve as a point of contact for all new hires and rehires during the beginning of an assignment
• Administration of pre-employment screenings including but not limited to drug screenings, alcohol screenings, background checks, post-offer questionnaires, etc.

Experience

• High school diploma or GED
• 1-3 years of work in an office setting
• (Preferred) 1-3 years of human resources or medical office work

Requirements

• A clean background and drug screen
• Be able to type at 45 WPM
• Perform well under pressure
• Work well in an environment that can be fast-paced
• Have exceptional customer service with applicants and clients
• Maintain a good working relationship with all coworkers
• Maintain all confidentiality and HIPAA
• Follow guidelines of employment laws including, but not limited to: Title VII, ADA, FLSA, FMLA, and other employment laws
• Have excellent communication skills
• Be able to lead meetings and properly communicate information
• Actively listen and handle all inquiries with good discretion
• Have reliable transportation
• Maintain a professional demeanor
• Be punctual and dependable
• Remain patient and friendly towards clients and applicants in all interactions
• Lift and move 20 pounds occasionally
• Dress in business casual attire, jeans on Fridays
• Work some overtime to complete tasks
• Be self-motivated but able to work well in a team
• Multitask and prioritize tasks well

Location: Thomasville, Georgia

Pay Rate : $13.00 - $18.00 / Hour

Schedule: Monday – Thursday, 7:50 am – 5:00 pm, Friday 7:50 am – 4:00 pm
