Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced Home Health RN with OASIS and HCHB proficiency for a geriatric caseload requiring a WI or compact RN license.

Details

• Home Health setting serving a geriatric patient population
• Day shift schedule, 5x8 hours, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
• Average caseload of 5-7 patients per day, to be confirmed during interview
• Minimum of 30 points weekly required
• On-call rotation may be required, details to be discussed during interview
• Territory covers up to a 60-mile radius from the hub office
• Traveler must be flexible with assigned territory
• All charting must be completed by 9:00 AM the following morning

Requirements

• Active WI or compact RN license required in hand at time of consideration
• Current BLS certification required
• Minimum of 1 year recent relevant Home Health experience required
• OASIS experience required for staff completing Start of Care (SOC)
• Proficiency in HCHB (Homecare Homebase) EMR required
• Active driver's license and personal transportation required

Additional Information

• Provide skilled nursing care to geriatric home health patients
• Timely communication and documentation are mandatory
• Monday orientation required, including completion of billable training modules
• Scrub dress code required, any color, no jeans permitted
• iPad provided for charting; personal cell phone use not required
• Mileage reimbursed at the IRS standard rate
• Local candidates accepted at the travel rate
• First-time travelers will not be considered for this role
• Travel pairs accepted, though each traveler is assigned their own territory and must have independent transportation
• Former permanent employees must be separated for at least 6 months and approved by HR before returning as a traveler
• Requested time off (RTO) must be submitted at the time of application
