Security Officer

Job Overview Behavioral Systems Southwest, Inc. is seeking a dedicated and reliable Security Officer to work in our residential program. The role involves maintaining a safe and secure environment for clients, employees, and visitors, while providing comprehensive reintegration services to the ex‑offender population. Responsibilities Population counts and movement control in and out of the program. Conduct urinalysis testing and searches. Ensure life safety and enforce policies, procedures, and protocols. Assist with decision making, social skills development, and job search support for residents. Requirements Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong organizational ability and ability to multi‑task. Work varied schedule, including graveyard/swing shifts, weekends and holidays. Pass an extensive criminal background investigation. Clear DMV record and provide a 3‑year DMV printout at the time of application. High school diploma or equivalent.
