Mortgage Loan OriginatorAs the Mortgage Loan Originator, you will build relationships within the community and guide members through the mortgage process with expert advice and personalized service. With monthly sales incentives, your earning potential grows as you succeed in helping members with their financial needs.What You'll DoOriginate and process mortgage loan applications by interviewing applicants and analyzing financial information.Educate members on mortgage products and services, ensuring alignment with their financial needs.Build and maintain relationships within the community, especially with real estate professionals, to attract new mortgage business.Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders such as appraisers, title officers, and underwriters to ensure smooth loan processing.Attend community events to promote mortgage products and represent the credit union.Provide exceptional member service by resolving inquiries and identifying opportunities for cross-selling products.Maintain compliance with federal and state regulations, including the SAFE Act and Bank Secrecy Act.Is This You?High School Diploma or equivalentStrong attention to detail, organizational, problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skillsProfessionalism in conduct, communication, and appearanceTeam player with a positive attitude and flexibilityProficiency in basic computer operationTravel to offsite business locations requiredAbility to be bonded and registered under the SAFE ActPreferred But Not Required: College degree (or completion of equivalent training or apprentice program) and mortgage lending experienceWhy Join Arbor?For over 90 years, Arbor Financial Credit Union has helped members and employees thrive.
