Senior Director, Global Rewards Business Partner

Global Rewards Business Partner – COFO (G&A) Provide consultancy support, anchored in compensation, to business leaders and ES (HR) leaders across the COFO organization to maximize the impact of our Global Rewards portfolio. This role ensures that business priorities are reflected in the design and delivery of all Rewards programs and shapes the future effectiveness of Global Rewards programs. Key Responsibilities Operate as a trusted advisor and point person for all Global Rewards related matters for functional, regional, or business unit leadership and ES Business Partners. Work closely with functional stakeholders such as Talent, Recruitment, and Operations to align the organization’s compensation and benefits strategies with overall business objectives, and provide feedback to the Global Rewards design and operational teams. Drive alignment of the Global Rewards Business Partner engagement model to drive operating efficiency, flexibility, and consistent service level across all client groups and globally. Provide specific compensation consulting to key client groups across all compensation programs, including merit, bonus, and long‑term‑incentive planning; facilitate and conduct compensation‑rate reviews for global programs; consult on proposed salary adjustments and promotions to align with overall compensation strategy and company values; serve as escalation point for functional Recruitment compensation queries. Support the development and testing strategy for Rewards programs and systems, reinforce awareness within ES and the wider business of our compensation structures, and oversee overall approval of COFO salary ranges. Provide support as required for M&A activity. Use all available resources—including data, dashboards, AI tools, and the broader team—to drive creative, future‑oriented solutions supporting key business objectives (e.g., analysis of market data and trends, identifying compensation requirements for the future workforce, advising on COFO Rewards requirements and design choices, and looking holistically at the overall rewards environment). Partner with other ES functions and partner organizations (Payroll, Legal, Communications) to ensure alignment, consistency and efficiency across the operational model; collaborate with ES leadership and other stakeholders to provide feedback into Rewards design functions. Actively participate in external networking to maintain awareness of industry trends, regulatory changes, and potential opportunities in the Rewards space. Communicate changes to compensation and benefits programs to key leaders; provide guidance, education and escalation support for high‑complexity cases, leveraging the broader Global Rewards function as needed. Requirements Minimum 12+ years of experience in compensation and benefits. Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment and strong numeracy skills. Hands‑on experience using AI tools such as ChatGPT, Gemini, Copilot, or equivalent in a professional context. Proven ability to apply AI to accelerate data analysis, streamline workflows, and drive insight—including prompt engineering, AI‑assisted modeling, or building AI‑enabled processes in a Rewards or HR environment. Ability to influence senior stakeholders; solutions‑oriented. Strong prioritization and multitasking skills with attention to detail. Experience supporting a variety of client groups within G&A. Expertise in financial analysis, statistical analysis, and compensation modeling. Highly experienced using relevant tools such as Google Docs and Excel. Open, honest, and results‑oriented communication style; able to interact credibly with stakeholders at all levels. Confident presentation and facilitation skills. High integrity and comfort operating with ambiguity; capable of balancing governance with quality client service. Strong, pragmatic problem‑solving skills and proactive issue management. Sensitivity to cultural dynamics and ability to operate across cultures. Curiosity and appreciation for different work patterns while meeting deadlines. Preferred Skills Experience in the high‑tech industry or a fast‑growth environment. Experience with Workday HRIS, Excel, Google Docs, Tableau dashboard creation and Slack. In select cities in the San Francisco and New York City metropolitan areas, base salary range: $218,100 – $332,600 annually.
