Physician - OB GYN Profession: Physician Specialty: Obstetrics and Gynecology, Emergency Medicine Duration: Ongoing Shift: DNR - 12x3 - 07,19 Hours per Shift: 12 hours, 7am-7pm and 7pm-7am Experience: Minimum years of experience required License: Board certification required Certifications: ACLS, BLS Must-Have: Evaluation of patients who are pregnant up to 6 weeks postpartum Ability to perform necessary obstetric procedures including low-risk and high-risk pregnancy management Competence in FHR interpretation Proficiency in performing and interpreting OB ultrasounds including Level I and II Skilled in routine deliveries, including vaginal and C-sections Decision-making for complex deliveries and related complications Description:Night and day shifts are available.This is a locum need for the OB ED with no call responsibilities.The OB ED has an average patient volume of 40-60 patients per day.There is 24/7 coverage for physicians with APP support for 18 hours a day.Registered Nurse staffing includes 2-3 RNs, depending on the time of day.There is one physician present in the OB ED 24/7.APPs, including Physician Assistants, Nurse Practitioners, and Midwives, support the service line by managing patients.This role is intended for an OB provider who will see confirmed pregnancies and manage Client complaints.The average number of deliveries per year is not specified.This position involves hospital-based shifts in the OB ED only.Emergency medicine providers are available as resources if needed.There are no on-call shifts; all shifts are scheduled.Complications managed include, but are not limited to, ectopic pregnancies and complex deliveries.Candidates should have experience with both routine and complicated obstetric care. #J-18808-Ljbffr Cynet HealthStaff
