This facility operates as a correctional institution for adult women, providing outpatient psychological services within a secure clinical environment. The setting maintains established clinical protocols suited to a corrections-based mental health care framework. Mental health services are delivered on-site in support of the population served.

The surrounding region offers a broad range of experiences, from urban landmarks such as the Space Needle, Pike Place Market, and the Museum of Pop Culture, to accessible natural destinations including Snoqualmie Falls, approximately 35 miles from downtown, and Mount Rainier. Visitors may explore Puget Sound by ferry, with routes to destinations such as Bainbridge Island, and participate in wildlife and whale watching cruises. Additional day trip options include Olympic National Park and the Boeing Factory, complementing the area's established arts, food, and waterfront attractions.

The clinical psychologist will provide full-time, on-site psychological services to an adult population within a correctional outpatient setting, working a day shift schedule of 40 hours per week. Responsibilities include conducting evaluations, developing treatment plans, providing case management, performing crisis intervention, and completing wellness checks. The clinician will also facilitate individual and group therapy sessions as assigned. All clinical documentation must be completed in accordance with facility protocols.
