Fertilizer Technician

Job Overview Fertilizer Technician who loves working outdoors, beautifying spaces, and applying science to lawn care. Bring enthusiasm, independence, and a willingness to learn to our close‑knit team. Responsibilities Drive company truck, perform duties outdoors in varying weather. Select, mix, and apply fertilizers and weed control products to residential and commercial lawns. Operate machinery and tools for multiple application types. Conduct lawn analysis for third‑party testing and identify lawn problems and recommend solutions. Fill out time‑tracking accurately via iPad using our software. Perform daily equipment cleaning and supply restock, and load equipment for the next day. Check in with customers, ensure satisfaction, and communicate professionally. Qualifications 18 years of age or older. Valid driver’s license. Experience in fertilization/weed control industry (preferred). Even if you did not finish high school, please apply. Capable of lifting 50 lbs regularly. Positive attitude, desire to work outdoors, and willingness to follow scheduling needs. Nice‑to‑haves Certified by Indiana State Chemist as Registered Fertilizer Technician with Core Test. 3B Turf Management category certification. Experience managing or supervising others on the job. Pay & Schedule Hourly rate $18.00–$25.00 depending on experience. Typical schedule Monday‑Friday, 7:00 AM–5:00 PM; schedule and hours vary by project and season.
