Job Title: RN Level 2 Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Med/Surg RN Duration: 17 weeks Shift: 3x12.0 Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum of 2 years in long-term care License: RN License (New York) required Certifications: BLS (American Heart Association) required Must-Have: - Two years experience in long-term care - RN License (New York only) - BLS Certification (American Heart Association only) Description: We are seeking a Registered Nurse for a long-term care environment. The role involves providing care for geriatric residents. You will be responsible for direct patient care, assessments, and documentation. You will also implement the nursing plan of care. Oversight of LPN and CNA colleagues is part of the duties. Medication administration is required. Excellent communication, flexibility, and delegation skills are essential. No acute care needs will be present in the facility. Wound care experience is required, but no trach care will be needed. This position requires a commitment to caring for older adults in a long-term care setting.
