Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) ManagerStarting Salary: $108,480 - $135,600/annually + 20% Annual Target BonusShift: Full-TimeLocation: South Los Angeles, CAJob Duties and ResponsibilitiesLead and continuously improve Environmental, Health & Safety programs across manufacturing and distribution operationsServe as the site's EHS subject matter expert, providing guidance and leadership on regulatory compliance, risk management, environmental programs, and injury preventionDevelop and implement initiatives designed to reduce workplace injuries, incidents, and environmental risksConduct facility inspections, audits, and compliance assessments to identify gaps and verify program effectivenessDevelop corrective action plans and partner with facility leadership to ensure timely resolution of EHS concernsEnsure compliance with OSHA, EPA, DOT, RCRA, and applicable local, state, and federal regulationsManage and support environmental compliance programs and required regulatory documentationAnalyze EHS performance metrics and develop action plans to improve safety and environmental performanceDevelop and deliver EHS training programs for employees, supervisors, and leadershipPartner with operations, maintenance, HR, legal, and other cross-functional teams on EHS initiativesSupport emergency preparedness, crisis management, incident response, and workers' compensation activitiesIdentify opportunities to improve EHS processes through data-driven decision making and continuous improvement methodologiesStay current on regulatory changes and industry best practices and communicate relevant updates to facility leadershipSupport additional EHS projects and initiatives as assignedEducation RequirementsBachelor's degree in Occupational Safety, Environmental Health & Safety, Environmental Science, Risk Management, or related field with 6+ years of relevant experienceHigh school diploma/GED with 9+ years of relevant safety, risk management, or environmental experience may be consideredKnowledge, Skills, and Abilities6+ years of progressive experience in EHS, safety, environmental compliance, or risk managementStrong knowledge of OSHA, EPA, DOT, RCRA, and applicable environmental and safety regulationsExperience conducting EHS audits, inspections, risk assessments, and compliance evaluationsStrong understanding of hazard recognition, risk assessment, and injury prevention practicesExperience developing and delivering safety and compliance trainingAbility to communicate complex technical and regulatory information to non-technical audiencesStrong written and verbal communication skillsStrong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skillsProficiency with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPointExperience with Lean Six Sigma or other continuous improvement methodologies preferredExperience with ISO 45001, ISO 14001, or similar EHS management systems preferredFood and beverage, consumer products, manufacturing, or distribution experience preferredLeadership experience with the ability to influence and develop teams preferredASP, CSP, or other professional EHS certification preferredMust be able to successfully complete a post-offer background check and drug screeningBenefits IncludeMedical, dental, and vision insurance401(k) with company matchPaid time offEducation/tuition reimbursementAnnual bonus opportunityHealth and wellness programsProfessional development and career advancement opportunitiesComprehensive benefits package
