Cross Country Nurses is seeking a travel nurse RN OR - Operating Room for a travel nursing job in Nashville, Tennessee. Job Description & Requirements Specialty: OR - Operating Room Discipline: RN Start Date: 10/05/2026 Duration: 26 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, days Employment Type: Travel Job Summary Operating Room (OR) Nurse in a hospital setting. This position involves providing circulating assistance in a large Level 1 trauma hospital with over 1000 beds. The role requires working 12-hour day shifts Monday through Friday, with late stay requirements based in the main OR. The assignment is for a 26-week period with potential for float between OR locations, excluding pediatric cases. Candidates must have previous travel experience and at least 2 years of OR experience. Job Details Schedule: 12-hour day shifts, Monday through Friday, with a minimum of 36 hours per week. Required Qualifications: Valid RN license, circulating experience in an operating room environment, a minimum of 2 years OR experience, prior travel experience, and current certifications. Preferred Qualifications: Experience in Level 1 trauma hospitals, experience with various service lines excluding cardiac, transplant, trauma/neuro, and experience working in fast-paced or hybrid OR environments. Additional Information: Orientation sessions are scheduled on 09/14/2026, 09/28/2026, 10/05/2026, 10/12/2026, and 10/26/2026; no orientation on 09/21/2026 or 10/19/2026. The position involves working late stays in the main OR, with typical stays rarely exceeding an additional hour beyond scheduled hours. The assignment expects working during two of the three designated holidays. Travelers will complete four late stays during the 13-week contract.
