Job Position: Janitorial/Housekeeping
Location: Valdosta, GA 31601 Pay Rate: $17.00/hr Shift: 1st Description: Job Title: Custodian / Quality Assurance Backup Job Summary:We are seeking an experienced and dependable cleaning professional to maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment. This position is responsible for cleaning restrooms, breakrooms, and office areas, assisting with heavy plant cleaning projects, and serving as a backup Quality Assurance Associate during employee absences and vacations. Key Responsibilities: Clean and sanitize restrooms, breakrooms, offices, and other designated areas.
Sweep, mop, vacuum, dust, and empty trash receptacles.
Restock restroom and breakroom supplies as needed.
Assist with heavy-duty plant cleaning in preparation for audits, inspections, and special projects.
Follow all company safety procedures and cleaning standards.
Report maintenance issues or safety concerns to management.
Serve as a backup Quality Assurance Associate by performing QA duties during absences and vacations.
Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications: Previous commercial or industrial cleaning experience preferred.
Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting, bending, standing, and walking for extended periods.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness.
Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently.
