Licensed Mental Health Therapist - Illinois Chicago, IL; Clinical Practice - Remote Licensed Mental Health Therapist — Full-Time or Part-Time Remote • Illinois License Required We're growing our Illinois team. Backpack Healthcare provides mental health care for children, teens, and young adults — all online, covered by most insurance. Responsibilities Carry a caseload of 15–36 sessions per week depending on part-time or full-time status. Conduct intakes and build client-centered, trauma-informed treatment plans. Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team — therapists, PMHNPs, and psychiatrists. Maintain timely documentation in the EHR. Support families with education and care coordination, not just the child in the room. Qualifications Active Illinois license: LCPC, LMFT, or LCSW. Experience with children, teens, and families. Comfortable working independently in a remote setting. Committed to trauma-informed, culturally responsive practice. What we offer $65/billable hour — LCSW, LCPC, or LMFT (independently licensed).
