Job Summary: Sprinkler Service Inspectors are responsible for conducting routine inspections, testing, service, and preventative maintenance on Fire Sprinkler, Clean Agent and Special Hazard Fire Protection Systems. Sign-On Bonus: Qualified technicians will receive a $5,000.00 sign-on bonus paid in two installments: the first payment after successfully completing 30 days of employment, and the second payment after completing 90 days. This bonus rewards your commitment and excellent performance during your initial months with our company. Key Responsibilities: Perform routine service and maintenance tasks on wet, dry, pre-action, deluge and foam systems in commercial, industrial, and residential buildings. This includes inspecting, testing, cleaning components, and verifying system functionality. Identify and diagnose issues with fire suppression systems. Provide customer instruction on system operation and functionality. Manage job scheduling and job progress in an efficient and cost-effective manner, with a strong focus on quality. Provide exceptional customer service to clients by addressing their inquiries, concerns, and service requests promptly and professionally. Educate customers on fire suppression system functionality, best practices, and emergency response procedures. Complete and submit all required task-related, activity, productivity, and other documentation in a timely manner. Making sure all work complies with relevant codes and regulations. Demonstrate an understanding of and follow all safety regulations and practices. Ensure proper maintenance and care of equipment - trucks, lifts, tools, etc. What We Are Looking For: High School Diploma or GED Equivalent 1-3 years years experience as Fire Sprinkler Inspector, preferred NICET II Certification, preferred VA Backflow DPOR, required or ability to obtain within 30-60 days of hire. Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in the Fire & Life Safety industry. Knowledge of NFPA code requirements Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and adapt to changing priorities Physical Requirements: While performing the essential functions of this job the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, use hands to finger, handle, or feel, reach with hands or arms, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl, and is occasionally required to lift and/or move heavy objects. Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds. Comfortable working in various environments, including industrial facilities, commercial buildings, and outdoor settings, which can potentially expose employees to noise, dust, heat stress, thermal stress, low light conditions, heights, etc. Capable of standing, walking, bending, and kneeling for extended periods.
