We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly motivated Human Resources Specialist to join our Human Resources department. The Human Resources Specialist will support the Human Resources Department by performing the following duties: Job Description The HR Specialist will be responsible for providing support to the HR department in various areas, including database management, recruitment, employee relations, benefits administration, and compliance. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of HR policies and procedures, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities Assist with maintaining employee personnel records/files. Direct preparation and distribution of written and verbal information to inform employees of benefits programs such as insurance plans, pension plans, paid time off, and special employer-sponsored activities as assigned. Create monthly reports for the company as requested. Conduct federal, state, and local government reporting of employee information as needed. Attendance tracking/timecard management for all hourly and salaried employees as assigned. Maintaining systems and databases, such as updating records and processing insurance claims, creating memos, letters, and correspondence as assigned. Assist in administering employee benefit programs and workers' compensation plans. FMLA tracking for hourly/salary employees as requested. Assist with benefit administration, including preparation of 1095C reports, COBRA administration, enrollments, and terminations. Assist with recruitment activities such as attending job/career fairs, posting jobs, interviewing, etc. Assist with all company events, wellness program, and community service activities. Requirements Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field 3+ years of experience in HR Strong understanding of HR policies and procedures Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Proficient in Microsoft Office In addition to our great environment, we offer a competitive salary, 100% employer paid benefit premiums, generous 401(k), on-site fitness center and other comprehensive benefits. #J-18808-Ljbffr
