Operations Manager 2, Multi-Service

Sodexo is seeking a General Manager 2 – Conference Center in Culver City, CA, supporting a Corporate Services client. This leader will oversee conference logistics, event setups, vendors, facilities support, and workplace service excellence. Lead a team of six while managing event logistics, temporary labor, furniture moves, contractors, vendors, safety, daily operations, and budget support. Ensure seamless events and a high-quality workplace experience. About the job Lead daily operations for two or more core service areas at a client site, ensuring exceptional service delivery, client satisfaction, and long-term retention. Implement operational strategies that support client objectives, drive performance, and contribute to profitable growth. Supervise team members, allocate resources, monitor operating standards, and develop new programs to enhance service offerings. Accountable for managing people, setting direction and deploying resources; typically is responsible for performance evaluation, pay reviews and hire/fire decisions. Results are primarily achieved through the work of others and typically depend on the manager's ability to influence and negotiate with parts of the organization. Progression within Career Band reflects acquisition of broad technical expertise, business and industry knowledge, and process and people leadership capabilities. Accountable for business, functional or operational areas, processes or programs, which may include dotted-line or matrixed management. Leadership skills to develop teams, delegate effectively, and maintain accountability. Experience establishing operating standards, implementing quality improvements, and ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory requirements. Proactive, resourceful approach to solving operational challenges and supporting daily functions.
