R&D Laboratory Technician

Trident Consulting is seeking a "R&D Laboratory Technician III (Filtration)" for one of our clients in " Bedford, MA " Our client is a global leader in business and technology services. Position: R&D Laboratory Technician III (Filtration) Location: Bedford, MA (100% Onsite) Pay Rate: Up to $29/hr on W2 Duration: 12 Months (Extension Possible) Schedule: Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM Interview: In-Person Position Summary We are seeking an experienced R&D Laboratory Technician III to join the Filtration Research & Development Applications Group . This role supports the development of innovative filtration technologies used in biopharmaceutical manufacturing by performing laboratory testing, executing experiments, documenting results, and collaborating with engineers and scientists on product development initiatives. The ideal candidate will have hands‑on laboratory experience, strong documentation skills, experience following experimental protocols, and the ability to troubleshoot laboratory experiments with minimal supervision Key Responsibilities Perform laboratory experiments and filtration testing to support R&D and product development. Prepare solutions, execute experiments, and document results using Electronic Laboratory Notebooks (ELN). Analyze data, troubleshoot experiments, and support process improvements. Collaborate with scientists and engineers on product development and testing. Develop test methods, experimental protocols, and technical reports. Maintain laboratory equipment while ensuring compliance with EHS and laboratory safety standards. Deliver accurate, high‑quality results within project timelines. Required Qualifications Associate's Degree in Biology, Biochemistry, Life Sciences, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering , or a related discipline OR High School Diploma/GED with 5+ years of laboratory experience Hands‑on laboratory experience (Required) Experience following laboratory protocols and documenting experimental results. Basic troubleshooting and analytical problem‑solving skills. Strong organizational and documentation skills. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint). Preferred Qualifications Experience in Biopharmaceutical Filtration or Process Development. Experience with: Normal Flow Filtration (NFF) / Tangential Flow Filtration (TFF) /Adsorptive Media Processes Experience using Electronic Laboratory Notebooks (ELN). Product testing and R&D development experience. Knowledge of Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) procedures. Experience supporting filtration technology or bioprocess development. #J-18808-Ljbffr
