Senior Network Engineer

Senior Network Engineer Leidos is seeking a Senior Network Engineer to join our elite team supporting mission-critical national security programs. In this role, you’ll work at the forefront of cybersecurity, network engineering, and advanced analytics helping defend and enable some of the nation's most vital operations. What You’ll Do Leading advanced network troubleshooting and problem resolution Analyzing and optimizing network performance, latency, and throughput Designing and implementing scalable, secure network architectures Working with technologies such as: Routing protocols & BGP Policy-based routing & traffic shaping IPSec tunneling & NAT Firewalls, load balancing, and WAN optimization Evaluating and integrating emerging networking technologies Collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver mission-driven solutions Mentoring junior engineers (Levels 0-2) and ensuring engineering excellence What You Bring 12-15 years of network engineering experience (or equivalent expertise) Bachelor's degree in a technical field (or 5 additional years of experience in lieu of degree) Strong experience in network design, optimization, and security CCNA and CCNP certifications required Proven ability to lead technical efforts and mentor teams Security Clearance Requirement Active TS/SCI with Polygraph (required) Why Join Leidos? The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary.
