The General Labor team member supports daily structural fabrication operations by assisting with material movement, shop organization, production processes, and other tasks needed to maintain a safe and efficient work environment. How You Will Do It: Assist with moving, staging, loading, and unloading materials throughout the shop. Support material flow between production operations and work areas Assist fabrication and welding team members with general production needs. Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas. Properly use hand tools, power tools, and other equipment as assigned. Assist with loading and unloading trucks and trailers as needed. Follow established safety procedures and wear required personal protective equipment. Complete assigned tasks accurately and efficiently to help minimize production downtime. Communicate with the Shop Foreman and other team members regarding material, production, or safety concerns. Perform additional general labor and shop support duties as assigned. The Position Requires: Ability to perform physically demanding work in an industrial environment. Ability to lift, carry, push, and move materials safely. Willingness to learn and assist in multiple areas of structural fabrication operations. Ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team. Commitment to maintaining a safe and organized work environment. Dependability, strong attendance, and the ability to complete assigned tasks efficiently. Ability to work around industrial equipment, machinery, and moving materials.
