Line Cook (Full-Time)

Join Our TeamWe are looking for a dependable and team-oriented Line Cook to join our Food Services team in Upper Marlboro, Maryland.As a Line Cook, you'll play an important role in supporting a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for the individuals we serve. You'll assist with meal preparation, kitchen sanitation, food safety compliance, inventory, and daily kitchen operations.Advanced Recovery Systems is a national behavioral healthcare organization committed to providing high-quality, evidence-based care for individuals facing addiction, substance use, and mental health challenges. Our team members are part of a larger organization focused on improving patient outcomes, supporting employees, and strengthening the communities we serve.What You'll DoPrepare and assist with meals according to established food service standards.Maintain cleanliness and organization throughout the kitchen, dining room, food storage, and refuse disposal areas.Monitor and document refrigerator and freezer temperatures daily.Properly use approved cleaning products and follow kitchen sanitation procedures.Remove trash and food waste from kitchen, dining, and storage areas.Safely operate kitchen equipment, including meat slicers and other food preparation equipment.Monitor and inventory food service supplies as directed.Follow all applicable food safety, sanitation, and regulatory requirements.Work cooperatively with other cooks, Food Services staff, and facility leadership.Maintain a safe, orderly, and professional work environment.Support the overall success of the facility and Food Services department.Perform other duties as assigned.
