Speech Language Pathologist

Step into a rewarding contract opportunity providing vital speech and language support to students now through the end of the school year. This dynamic role offers both full‑time and part‑time schedules, Monday through Friday (8:00‑4:00 based on building assignment), all onsite. After interviews, caseload assignments will be tailored to your expertise and interests, working with students of varying grade levels—elementary, middle, and high school. Expect to serve approximately 45+ students, with assignments adjusted as needed. You will evaluate communication challenges ranging from receptive‑expressive language, articulation, and voice to fluency, neuromuscular, and non‑vocal disorders. Document evaluation results thoroughly and closely connect communication impacts to each student’s educational progress. You'll identify needs, write treatment plans, and provide thoughtful recommendations for interventions and Individualized Education Programs (IEPs). Qualifications & Requirements: Valid Washington State SLP license and ESA credential required Open to SLP‑CCC and SLP‑CFY candidates Recent (within the past two years) OSPI‑issued fingerprint clearance Experience or interest in educational settings, open to working with K‑12 populations Strong communication, documentation, and team collaboration skills Responsibilities include: Conducting thorough assessments of student speech and language abilities Developing and implementing individualized therapy plans Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams and participating in IEP meetings Providing support, resources, and progress reports to families and staff Enjoy a supportive working environment with access to a dedicated Clinical Advisory Team, mentorship, and ongoing professional development opportunities.
