Details Work in a high-volume, fast-paced Endoscopy Lab within a hospital setting RNs rotate through pre-op, post-op, and intra-op areas Day shift schedule: 07:30–18:00 On-call required, approximately 5 call shifts per 4-week period Floating to other like units may be required 13-week contract Requirements Active SC or compact RN license required BLS certification required (AHA only) ACLS certification required (AHA only) Minimum 1 year of endoscopy or GI nursing experience required Additional Information Responsibilities include patient assessment through history, observation, physical examination, and diagnostic data analysis Provides age-specific nursing interventions consistent with the plan of care and standards of practice Expected to contribute to department performance through precepting and mentoring of novice staff Participates in hospital-system initiatives and evidence-based practice development American Traveler Job ID #P-716156.
