TOTEME is a fashion house rooted in Swedish sensibilities, modern aspirations, and the notion of style. With an appreciation for how pieces are worn in practice, we create emblematic designs with an emphasis on materiality and shape. Archetype pieces are realized in authentic materials, rich textures and graphic silhouettes. Representing a direct and decisive way of dressing, the collections are contextualized in curated edits, visuals, and spaces.

TOTEME was founded in 2014 by Elin Kling and Karl Lindman. From the atelier in Stockholm, we create women's and men's collections spanning ready-to-wear, shoes, bags, accessories, and jewelry.

The Role

TOTEME is looking for a full-time Sales Advisor to join our store on Madison Avenue in New York. In this role you will act as a brand ambassador, providing excellent service and building long-term relationships with our customers and driving business in all aspects, from sales to brand building. You will report to the Store Manager.

Responsibilities

• Build and nurture strong client relationships to drive loyalty, engagement, and an elevated shopping experience.
• Work both independently and collaboratively to support daily operations and achieve sales targets.
• Engage in merchandising and styling to maintain a visually compelling store environment.
• Plan and execute daily store operations.
• Work towards company standards and goals.
• Participate in and contribute to TOTEME's social and environmental sustainability strategy.

Your Profile

• Previous experience in a similar role within high-end retail or with a strong lifestyle brand.
• Confident in delivering outstanding customer service and building strong client relationships.
• Interest in fashion, styling, and storytelling with an understanding of luxury service.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

This is a full-time position based at TOTEME's Madison Avenue store with an immediate start. The hourly salary for this role ranges between $25-30/hour and will be set according to the applicant's profile, skills and previous experience.

TOTEME has teams in Stockholm, London, New York, and Shanghai, as well as retail spaces across Europe, North America, and Asia.
