Job Details:
- Per Diem position with Monday through Friday schedule, no major holidays or weekends required
- Office hours from 7:30am to 5:00pm in an Occupational Health setting
- Examine, diagnose, and treat patients under the guidance of a Medical Doctor
- Prescribe medications, record patient vital signs, and monitor diagnostic tests to determine the source of patient symptoms for worker's compensation
- Determine physical clearances based on employment requirements
- Provide high quality professional clinical physician services as a licensed individual within the Occupational Health setting
- Must be experienced in occupational health practices including CME qualifications, drug testing protocols, and DOT and non-DOT regulations
- Perform evaluation of injuries and occupational standards
- Complete charts, EMR documentation, and all related medical records in a timely manner
- Maintain knowledge of state and federal regulations including OSHA and HIPAA
- Must be a graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program
- Must hold an active Connecticut Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant license
- CT Controlled Substance Registration and Federal Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) Certification required
Compensation:
