Required Skills:
- Valid Occupational Therapist license in the state of Louisiana
- Minimum of 1 year of relevant clinical experience
- Proficiency with EPIC electronic medical record system
- Ability to perform comprehensive patient evaluations and develop tailored treatment plans
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams
- BLS certification from the American Heart Association (AHA)
- Experience working in pediatric (children's hospital) settings
- Knowledge of trauma or acute care protocols
- Experience with staff education and mentoring
- Bilingual abilities to serve diverse patient populations
- Master's or Doctorate degree in Occupational Therapy
- Prior experience in acute care or hospital rehabilitation environments
- Familiarity with hospital workflows and clinical best practices
- Ability to work day shift, Monday through Friday, 8-hour shifts (08:00 - 16:30)
- Willingness to participate in ongoing training and professional development
- Commitment to maintaining licensure, certifications, and compliance with all applicable laws
