Senior Accountant – Fort Worth, TX
LHH has partnered with a growing Distribution company to hire a Senior Accountant located in Fort Worth, TX. This role will lead the month end close process, responsible for the general ledger and support the annual audit.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare monthly bank reconciliations accurately and in a timely manner.
- Serve as the primary contact for all state Sales and Use Tax issues, ensuring compliance and accuracy.
- Assist in reconciling General Ledger accounts, maintaining meticulous records.
- Collaborate closely with the AP Department to ensure accurate vendor payments.
- Support the preparation of Journal Entries for monthly close procedures.
- Work closely with the Controller to ensure completeness and accuracy in month-end close processes.
- Provide support during external audits as required.
- Assist the Controller with additional tasks as needed.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
- Minimum of 3+ years of progressive accounting experience
- Strong proficiency in Excel, including VLOOKUP and Pivot Tables.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Pay Details: $75,000.00 to $90,000.00 per year
