Senior Property Accountant

Senior Accountant – Fort Worth, TX

LHH has partnered with a growing Distribution company to hire a Senior Accountant located in Fort Worth, TX. This role will lead the month end close process, responsible for the general ledger and support the annual audit.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly bank reconciliations accurately and in a timely manner.
• Serve as the primary contact for all state Sales and Use Tax issues, ensuring compliance and accuracy.
• Assist in reconciling General Ledger accounts, maintaining meticulous records.
• Collaborate closely with the AP Department to ensure accurate vendor payments.
• Support the preparation of Journal Entries for monthly close procedures.
• Work closely with the Controller to ensure completeness and accuracy in month-end close processes.
• Provide support during external audits as required.
• Assist the Controller with additional tasks as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
• Minimum of 3+ years of progressive accounting experience
• Strong proficiency in Excel, including VLOOKUP and Pivot Tables.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Pay Details: $75,000.00 to $90,000.00 per year
