CDL Class A Local Delivery Driver | Home Daily | Full TimeToft Dairy: 3717 Venice Road, Sandusky, OH 44870Schedule: Monday-FridayStart Time: Midnight-4:00 AMHome Daily | Typical 8-hour workdayPosition SummaryToft Dairy is seeking a dependable CDL Class A Delivery Driver to safely deliver and unload milk, ice cream, and other dairy products to customers locations. This is a local route position where drivers return home daily while representing Ohio's oldest dairy.The ideal candidate is safety-focused, customer-oriented, and committed to delivering products accurately and on time.ResponsibilitiesSafely operate a CDL Class A truck on assigned local delivery routesDeliver dairy products to retail, food service, and customer locationsLoad and unload products using pallet jacks and hand cartsVerify delivery quantities and complete required paperworkConduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspectionsMaintain compliance with DOT regulations and company policiesHandle products according to food safety and quality standardsMaintain a clean and professional vehicle appearanceProvide excellent customer service at all delivery locationsBuild and maintain positive customer relationshipsQualificationsValid CDL Class A licenseCurrent DOT medical cardAbility to pass DOT physical, drug screening, and background checkStrong safety record and attention to detailReliable attendance and strong work ethicGood communication and customer service skillsPhysical RequirementsLift, carry, and move products weighing up to 50 lbs.Push and pull loaded pallet jacks and hand cartsClimb in and out of truck throughout the dayWork in refrigerated environments and varying weather conditionsPerform physical delivery work in a fast-paced environmentBenefitsCompetitive full-time payConsistent schedule and weekly hoursHome dailyOvertime opportunitiesMedical insurance with prescription coverageDental, vision, and life insurance optionsPaid vacation, sick time, and holidays401(k) with company matchAbout Toft DairyFor over 125 years, Toft Dairy has proudly served customers as Ohio's oldest dairy.
