Automotive Assistant & Service Managers

Assistant Manager As a future leader of Mavis, the Assistant Manager supports the Store Manager to ensure each Mavis retail location operates efficiently, safely and effectively. Using fundamental leadership skills, Assistant Managers are responsible for enforcing established policies, procedures and standards, scheduling mechanics/technicians' work, managing outside orders, ensuring the quality and timely completion of jobs, meeting customer expectations, and ensuring the safety of team members. Service Manager The Service Manager is responsible for assisting customers with tire selections and recommending necessary under‑car repair services. They direct the workflow of Mechanics, Alignment Technicians, and Tire Technicians and stage vehicle repair/maintenance work. They also lead sales initiatives, communicate directly with customers, assess customer needs, provide information regarding requested or necessary repairs and maintenance, and strive to meet customer expectations. Qualifications To be eligible for the position of Automotive Assistant / Service Manager, candidates must: (1) be at least 18 years of age; (2) be legally authorized to work in the United States; and (3) possess (i) 1 year of experience and/or training in automotive parts and/or tire sales, (ii) 1 year of experience and/or training in automotive repairs/maintenance, or (iii) any combination of education, training, and experience that demonstrates the ability to perform the duties of the position.
