Medical Front Desk

Job Description Private neurology practice is looking for a professional individual with a pleasant, courteous manner who is comfortable multi‑tasking to handle front desk, patient scheduling and medical assistant duties. Must be bilingual in English and Spanish and 3 years’ experience in a medical office preferred but not essential. Knowledge of ECW & Epic health records software a plus. Will train. BASIC DUTIES INCLUDE: Greeting patients and their family/companions and checking them in for their appointment, collection of copays & outstanding balances/ check out upon completion of the visit Registering new patients and ensuring that patient medical records, insurance verification, referrals, and authorizations are obtained before the appointment. Calling/ texting patients to confirm upcoming appointments, cancel or reschedule appointments Room patients and prepare medical history, take vitals. Maintain Exam Rooms neat & clean, ready for next patient. Generous salary and benefits. #J-18808-Ljbffr
