Contract | 13-Week Travel Assignment | Full-Time | Days (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM) | Onsite | Projected Start: September 14, 2026

Key Responsibilities

• Provide routine and complex nursing care for adult and pediatric patients in a high-acuity Emergency Department designated for Stroke, STEMI, Trauma, Resuscitation, and Advanced Cardiac care.
• Utilize the nursing process — including assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation — in accordance with ANA Scope and Standards of Practice.
• Administer medications and treatments per appropriate protocol; monitor for side effects and treatment effectiveness.
• Address complex psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs of patients and families.
• Document patient history, symptoms, medications, and care provided accurately and thoroughly.
• Assess learning needs and provide education to patients, family members, and caregivers; identify issues and connect with appropriate resources.

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license in the state of Texas or a compact state license.
• Current BLS certification (American Heart Association only).
• Current ACLS certification (American Heart Association only).
• Current PALS certification (American Heart Association only).
• Current TNCC certification required.
• Minimum of 1 year of Emergency Room nursing experience.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
• Experience in a high-acuity Emergency Department with adult and pediatric patient populations.
• Familiarity with Stroke, STEMI, Trauma, and Resuscitation protocols in a designated regional cardiac or trauma center environment.
