Job Details: Job Title: NICU Registered Nurse Location: Fredericksburg, VA Setting: Hospital Pay Range: 1846.45 - 1938.77 Schedule: 19:00 - 07:00 Contract Length: 13 weeks Candidate Type: Traveler Requirements 2 Years First-timers accepted; BCLS; NRP; Conscious sedation; vents; UA and UVC maintenance experience required; procedures include invasive and noninvasive ventilation, IV access and maintenance, UA and UVC, Replogle, Chest tubes, Thoracentesis, Venous and arterial blood sampling, Surfactant administration; Diagnoses include Extreme Prematurity, RDS, TTN, Infection/Sepsis, Medical NEC, PPHN, Pneumothorax, MAS, Poor Feeding, Glucose instability, Late-preterm, and Respiratory Responsibilities Provide specialized nursing care to neonatal intensive care patients. Monitor and maintain ventilators, IV lines, and other medical equipment. Assist with procedures such as thoracentesis, chest tube placement, and blood sampling.
