Lucem Health's mission is to help revolutionize diagnostic medicine. With our partner and investor Mayo Clinic, we will enable and support earlier disease detection, increased diagnostic efficiency, and greater patient agency.

"Lucem" is a Latin word meaning "bring the light of day." Our platform helps diagnostic medicine focused AI and machine learning algorithms "see the light of day" by connecting these algorithms with patient telemetry data and delivering algorithm generated insights into clinical workflows to the right stakeholder, in the right place, in the right context, at the right time.

Founded in 2021 through a collaboration between Mayo Clinic, Rally Ventures, and Commure (a General Catalyst company), Lucem Health is on a mission to revolutionize healthcare delivery with the practical application of clinical AI. We empower healthcare organizations to detect diseases at an earlier stage and identify patients who are undiagnosed, ultimately improving outcomes and optimizing limited clinical resources. We envision a future where proactive care enables problems to be detected before they become life threatening and patients get world class care, everywhere.

We are focused on helping providers deliver more proactive care by accelerating diagnosis and treatment. To do so, we've built a platform that connects patient data from varied sources with powerful, clinically focused AI algorithms and other advanced tools. We deliver the insights generated by these tools seamlessly into clinical workflow: to the right stakeholder, in the right place, in the right context, at the right time. We help clinicians and other stakeholders engage with, understand, trust, and adopt these tools so they see them as valuable partners that support better care and outcomes for patients.

We leverage this platform Lucem Health Reveal to deliver AI-enabled solutions, targeted at specific diseases, that deliver distinct and measurable clinical value propositions and financial benefits to our provider customers.

Position Summary

We are looking for a dynamic Engagement Manager to be a pivotal link between our health system partners and our innovative Reveal suite of products. The Engagement Manager will ensure our partners derive maximum value from our solutions by managing technical implementations, optimizing clinical workflows, and driving patient engagement. The ideal candidate will have a strong blend of project management, relationship management, a deep understanding of clinical/EHR workflows and integrations, and experience managing outreach campaigns. Your primary goal will be to become a trusted advisor to our health system partners, ultimately tracking and optimizing patient conversion to demonstrate the value of our Reveal products.

Responsibilities

  • Client Engagement & Relationship Management:
    • Serve as the primary point of contact and trusted advisor for a portfolio of health system clients.
    • Develop and nurture strong, long-lasting relationships with clinical, operational, and patient engagement SMEs.
    • Conduct regular business reviews with customers to highlight project health, return on investment, and opportunities for deeper partnership.
    • Manage customer relationships and expectations to ensure high-quality service delivery and customer satisfaction.
  • Implementation & Workflow Optimization:
    • Manage the full lifecycle of deployment activities, including technical tasks, from planning and design to testing and deployment.
    • Guide diagnostic workflow design sessions based on specific Reveal disease products to ensure high-quality delivery that is tailored to the customer's processes, and identify opportunities for automation and integration (e.g., FHIR, HL7, export/import) to reduce manual processing.
    • Provide training, support, and guidance to customers and end-users on implemented solutions.
  • Patient Outreach & Conversion:
    • Collaborate with the health system's clinical and patient experience/marketing SMEs to design and execute effective omnichannel patient outreach campaigns.
    • Track, analyze, and optimize patient conversion funnels to demonstrate the value and ROI of Reveal products.
    • Routinely communicate status, risks, and performance to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Internal Collaboration
    • Daily internal interactions with other Lucem team members from departments such as Product, Engineering, Model Development, Clinical Programs to collaborate on deliverables and processes needed to achieve customer deliverables.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Experience:
    • A minimum of 5+ years of experience in healthcare technology, project management, or client engagement.
    • Proven track record of successfully managing complex projects and customer relationships within a health system environment.
  • Skills & Expertise:
    • Project Management: Demonstrated ability to manage project scope, timelines, and deliverables effectively.
    • Relationship Management: Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills with a proven ability to build trust and maintain long-term customer relationships.
    • Clinical & EHR Workflows: A strong understanding of clinical environments, healthcare delivery systems, and electronic health record (EHR) workflows.
    • Healthcare Integrations: Solid knowledge of healthcare data interoperability standards and workflows, including FHIR, HL7, and data import/export processes.
    • Outreach Campaigns: Experience in designing, managing, or analyzing patient or consumer outreach campaigns is highly desirable.
    • General: Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Willingness to travel as needed.
    • Agility, flexibility, and collaboration: Proven track record of demonstrating agility and flexibility of managing multiple, competing priorities, developing solutions to problems and opportunities, and collaborating well in a remote work environment.

This is a remote position reporting to VP Customer Success. While our workforce is remote, occasional travel to customers, prospects, and our local hubs in Minneapolis, MN, Raleigh, North Carolina and New York City, NY, or other cities may be required for collaboration with other members of the Lucem Health team.
