Pharmacy Technician FulfillmentLocation: Will be working remote 80% with some in-person meeting/events to attend at Atlanta GA 30339 office. SHIFT: Mon - Fri 9:30 am to 6:30 pm (1 hour unpaid break) Duration: 3 months Target Start Date: 10/12/2026Description: The Pharmacy Technician Fulfillment provides assistance in the preparation and distribution of drug products. The Technician is responsible for preparing the prescription medications via use of the fulfillment system.Job Responsibilities:Process prescription exceptions which may include: resolving claim rejects and member and physician outreach.Enter member demographics and prescription information into the data processing system.Research and resolve rejected insurance billing issues and/or escalated member issues.Escalate questions regarding prescription to a Pharmacist for interpretation or provide direction on processing.Assist with inbound and/or outbound patient or physician calls.Other duties as assigned.Skills:Education/Experience: High School diploma. 0 to 2 years of Pharmacy Technician experience. Current Pharmacy Registration and Certification as required by state of operation. Basic computer skills.Typical Day in the Role:The new employee will be paired with a trainer. Outbound Members Calls will be the primary duty. The work-day may include faxes, provider calls and pharmacy calls. Independent work assignments will be given. The technician must have a pleasant attitude and be able to encourage members to refill their medications. A minimum of 15 calls per hour. MUST turn in work daily and arrive daily for work on time.Candidate Requirements:Education/Certification - Required: High School Diploma - Preferred:Licensure - Required: State Pharmacy Technician License-GAPTCB Certified - Preferred:Years of experience required: 1 to 2 years of Pharmacy Technician experience Disqualifiers: Not PTCB Certified, No Basic computer experience Additional qualities to look for: exceptional customer service experienceTop 3 must-have hard skills stack-ranked by importance - 1 - Customer Service2 - Basic Computer Skills3 - Prefer Health Plan Experience
