Patient Services Coordinator III - Family Medicine

Monroe Family Medical Center is seeking a full‑time Patient Services Coordinator III to join our team. This role is essential in creating a positive patient experience by providing exceptional administrative support and ensuring the efficient flow of daily operations. Responsibilities Timely and accurate registration of patient demographics, including verification of insurance information. Processing patient charges and collections. Scheduling appointments efficiently and accurately. Serve as a key point of contact for patients, delivering outstanding customer service while maintaining confidentiality and accuracy. Cross‑train in multiple administrative support functions, contributing to a collaborative, patient‑centered environment. Qualifications Education: High School Diploma or GED, required. Experience: One year of clerical experience in a medical office setting, required. Other related experience may be considered. Skills: Knowledge of medical office software for updating patient demographic information, posting charges, copays, and scheduling patient appointments; ability to work with changing priorities; excellent verbal communication, organization, problem‑solving and critical thinking; ability to interact with individuals of all cultures and levels of authority; maintain confidentiality; team player; initiative; basic medical terminology knowledge; high level working knowledge of EPIC systems; detailed knowledge of multiple payor billing requirements; familiarity with coding requirements for the practice specialty.
