Inventory Clerk

Inventory ClerkClayton Services is searching for an Inventory Clerk to join a growing manufacturing company in Northwest Houston. The Inventory Clerk will be responsible for maintaining inventory accuracy, processing shipping and receiving transactions, supporting production, and ensuring efficient warehouse operations.Job Type: Temp-to-Hire Pay Rate: $25.00/hour Benefits: Excellent benefits are available after the successful completion of the temporary period, including medical, dental, vision, 401(k), PTO, and more.Inventory Clerk Responsibilities:Receive incoming materials from vendors and customersVerify part numbers, quantities, and inventory accuracyLabel, organize, and stock inventory in designated warehouse locationsPerform shipping and order processing for domestic and international shipmentsProcess inventory transactions within the company's ERP systemCreate and complete work ordersIssue materials to production work ordersCreate Bills of Materials (BOMs)Perform inventory transfers and adjustmentsConduct cycle counts and maintain inventory accuracySupport multiple inventory locations and production projectsParticipate in daily production meetings to resolve inventory discrepanciesMaintain organized inventory records and warehouse documentationAssist with additional warehouse and inventory responsibilities as assignedInventory Clerk Skills and Abilities:Strong attention to detail and organizational skillsExcellent communication and teamwork skillsAbility to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environmentIntermediate computer skillsProficiency with Microsoft OfficeExperience using ERP systems preferred (NetSuite strongly preferred)Knowledge of shipping, receiving, inventory control, and warehouse operationsInternational shipping experience is a plusAbility to prioritize multiple tasks while maintaining accuracyInventory Clerk Education and Experience:High school diploma or GED required2+ years of inventory, warehouse, shipping/receiving, or logistics experience preferredExperience in a manufacturing or industrial environment preferredERP/NetSuite experience strongly preferredInventory Clerk - Immediate need.
