Travel CT Tech Company: Fusion Medical Staffing Location: Facility in York, Maine Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a skilled CT Technologist for a 13‑week travel assignment in York, Maine. Required Qualifications One year of recent experience as a CT Technologist Valid radiology license in compliance with state regulations Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC) Preferred Qualifications Current ARRT certification Other certifications and licenses may be required for this position Responsibilities Operate CT equipment to produce cross-sectional images of bones, organs, and tissue for diagnostic purposes. Prepare patients for procedures, explain the imaging process, and position patients appropriately. Set appropriate technical parameters to accurately demonstrate anatomy and pathology. Provide high‑quality images to the radiologist for interpretation. Adhere to radiation safety standards and hospital policies to ensure patient and staff safety. Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting of CT equipment to ensure proper functionality. Document patient information, imaging parameters, and procedural details accurately in the hospital’s system. Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, and other health‑care professionals to deliver timely diagnostic services. Adapt to different CT equipment and protocols across various healthcare facilities. Perform other duties as assigned within the scope of CT Technologist practice. Required Essential Skills Critical thinking, service excellence, and good interpersonal communication skills. Ability to read, write, and communicate in English. Ability to read and comprehend written instructions, follow verbal instructions, and proficiency in PC skills. Physical Abilities Maintain a stationary position, move about, move equipment (50–100 lbs), push, pull, and bend. Interpersonal Skills Work effectively with a variety of personnel (professional and ancillary) to present a positive attitude and professionalism. Technical/Motor Skills Grasp, perform fine manipulation, push/pull, and move about when assisting with procedures and/or using department equipment. Mental Requirements Cope with frequent contact with the general public and customers while meeting deadlines under pressure. Work under close supervision occasionally, as well as independently when needed. Handle irregular activity schedules occasionally with continuous concentration on detail.
