Commercial Insurance Senior Claims Representative

About the Role Marsh McLennan Agency (MMA) is a division of Marsh McLennan Agency that provides business insurance, employee health & benefits, retirement, and private client insurance solutions to organizations and individuals. As a Senior Claim Representative on the McGriff Specialty Team, you will support our claim management processes and contribute to the delivery of purposeful work and meaningful impact every day. Responsibilities Maintain accurate records and appropriate accounting in the claim management system; obtain specific information regarding loss/claim to report to the company; advise customers of the necessary processes for claims filing; respond to customer inquiries regarding claims status; assist producers and the claims team with claims status updates and special projects; respond to company requests for policy information as needed for claim settlements; maintain a personal diary system for periodic follow-up on selected claims; and update all screens on the claim injury system. Qualifications Bachelor's degree Two years of oil and gas/energy insurance or claims experience Adjustors license Operates under the direction of claims Strong client‑relation skills to build and maintain positive business relationships with clients and market contacts—including excellent communication skills and service orientation, cooperative nature, and tactfulness to resolve client and company problems Considerable knowledge of basic company computer programs for word processing, accounting and applications Preferred Qualifications Knowledge of risk transfers Prior brokerage experience Knowledge of McGriff's claim management/agency management system or ability to learn quickly Benefits We value and respect the impact our colleagues make every day both inside and outside our organization.
