SOFTWARE DEVELOPMENT SENIOR SPECIALIST

Job OverviewWe are seeking a highly skilled Senior AWS DevOps Engineer with 10+ years of IT experience to design, automate, and manage our cloud infrastructure. In this role, you will be the core driver of our infrastructure-as-code (IaC) strategies, CI/CD automation pipelines, and cloud security protocols. You will collaborate closely with development teams to ensure high availability, scalability, and seamless software delivery across all environments.Day to Day job Duties: • Automate Infrastructure: Write, maintain, and scale infrastructure using Terraform or AWS CloudFormation.• Manage CI/CD Pipelines: Design and optimize deployment pipelines daily using Jenkins, GitLab CI, or GitHub Actions.• Understanding of On-premise installations and experience in creating and managing On-premise environments while migration is taking place.• Orchestrate Containers: Deploy, scale, and troubleshoot containerized applications running on Kubernetes (EKS) or AWS ECS.• Monitor System Health: Set up and manage real-time alerts, dashboards, and logging systems using tools like Datadog, Prometheus, or AWS CloudWatch.• Enforce Cloud Security: Manage IAM roles, secure VPC networks, and perform automated vulnerability scans to protect cloud infrastructure.• Optimize Cloud Costs: Track resource utilization weekly to eliminate waste and optimize AWS spending.• Support Incident Response: Participate in rotational on-call support to troubleshoot and resolve high-priority infrastructure and uptime incidents.• Collaborate with Developers: Work daily alongside software engineers to streamline code deployments and architectural scalability.Basic Qualifications• Overall IT Experience: Minimum 10+ years of professional experience in software engineering, system administration, or infrastructure roles.• Dedicated DevOps Experience: Minimum 7+ years of focused experience working in a DevOps or Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) capacity.• AWS Cloud Expertise: Minimum 6+ years of hands-on experience provisioning and managing core AWS services (EC2, S3, VPC, RDS, IAM).• Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Minimum 5+ years of deep experience writing declarative infrastructure code using Terraform.• Containerization & Orchestration: Minimum 4+ years of production-level experience managing Kubernetes or Docker clusters.• CI/CD Pipeline Automation: Minimum 4+ years of experience building and maintaining automated build/release pipelines.• Scripting & Automation: Minimum 4+ years of experience writing automation scripts using Python, Bash, or Go.Nice to Have• Active Professional-level AWS Certifications (e.g., AWS Certified DevOps Engineer – Professional or AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional).• Official Kubernetes certifications such as CKA (Certified Kubernetes Administrator) or CKAD.• Experience implementing GitOps workflows using tools like ArgoCD or Flux.• Background managing configuration management tools like Ansible, Chef, or Puppet.• Familiarity with microservices architectures built on .NET Core, Java, or Node.js.• Experience implementing DevSecOps tooling directly into deployment pipelines (e.g., SonarQube, Aqua Security, Snyk).Posting Date:Department:Delivery - VB/.NET- HP, Prov & LS - 1438410011
