Diesel MechanicAs a Diesel Mechanic at Wright Concrete Construction, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our fleet of diesel-powered vehicles and equipment. Your primary responsibility will be to diagnose, repair, and maintain diesel engines, transmissions, and other mechanical components. You will also be responsible for conducting regular inspections, performing preventative maintenance, and troubleshooting any issues that arise. By effectively maintaining our diesel equipment, you will contribute to the overall efficiency and productivity of our construction projects.Minimum Qualifications:High school diploma or equivalentProven experience as a Diesel MechanicStrong knowledge of diesel engines and their componentsAbility to use diagnostic tools and equipmentExcellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skillsPreferred Qualifications:Certification or degree in Diesel Mechanics or a related fieldExperience working with heavy machinery or construction equipmentKnowledge of hydraulic and electrical systemsFamiliarity with computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS)Strong attention to detail and organizational skillsResponsibilities:Diagnose and repair diesel engines, transmissions, and other mechanical componentsPerform routine maintenance tasks, such as oil changes, filter replacements, and fluid checksConduct inspections to identify any potential issues or malfunctionsTroubleshoot and resolve mechanical problems in a timely mannerMaintain accurate records of repairs, maintenance, and inspectionsIn this role, you will utilize your strong knowledge of diesel engines and their components to diagnose and repair mechanical issues.
