Job Summary The Quality Registered Nurse Coordinator assists the Quality Director in the management of the patient safety and performance improvement of Person Memorial Hospital. Assists in coordinating and measuring performance of internal and external patient safety requirements. Assists the Quality Director in the implementation of evidence-based programs, practices and activities that realize continuous improvements in patient safety, patient experience and staff engagement. Assists with peer review, mortality review, and OPPE/FPPE. How You'll Contribute As a vital member of our Quality Team, you will: Supports the Quality Director in collecting, analyzing, and reporting quality, safety, and compliance data to identify trends and improvement opportunities. Assists with continuous survey readiness, regulatory compliance, and alignment of clinical policies with accreditation standards, including Joint Commission requirements. Participates in performance improvement initiatives, peer review, mortality review, and OPPE/FPPE processes to enhance patient care quality. Investigates sentinel events, near misses, and potential risks through medical record reviews and root cause analyses. Provides education and guidance to leaders and staff on quality assurance practices, documentation standards, and performance improvement efforts.
