  • Identify and mitigate workplace risks through assessments, inspections, industrial hygiene activities, and proactive problem-solving.
  • Lead investigations of incidents, injuries, and environmental events, implementing corrective actions that prevent recurrence.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to integrate EHSS principles into processes, projects, equipment, and facility changes.
  • Chair site safety and emergency response committees while serving as a trusted advisor to plant leadership.
  • Oversee EHSS budgets, regulatory reporting, contractor relationships, employee training, and the development of EHSS team members.

What You'll Bring

  • Bachelor's degree in Environmental Health & Safety, Environmental Science, Industrial Hygiene, Engineering, or a related field.

  • Strong knowledge of EPA, OSHA, and DOT regulations and their application within a manufacturing environment.
  • Experience leading risk assessments, incident investigations, compliance activities, and corrective action programs.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and enhance EHSS programs while influencing stakeholders across multiple levels and functions.
  • Professional certification such as CSP, CIH, CHMM, or a related EHSS credential.
  • Experience leading EHSS initiatives in a regulated manufacturing environment, including permitting, environmental reporting, and sustainability programs.
  • Working knowledge of ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 management systems.
  • Experience developing EHSS strategies, managing budgets and external partners, and driving performance through data, metrics, and continuous improvement initiatives.
