Details Post Anesthesia Care Unit supporting General, Thoracic, Plastic, Vascular, Orthopedic, Urology, and Gynecology surgery services Cares for pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients 34-bed unit with a census of 30 to 40 patients per day RN to patient ratio of 1:2 Uses Epic for charting Shift is primarily evenings (9:00am-5:00pm) with occasional day shift rotation and every other weekend, no night shifts 36 or 40 hour contract options available No floating required Requirements Active MA RN license required (no conditional or pending licenses accepted) AHA BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required Minimum 5 years of PACU experience required Flu vaccination required with no religious or medical exemptions allowed Additional Information Provide post-anesthesia recovery care across a variety of surgical specialties Local candidates must reside within 60 miles of Boston, MA and are subject to a reduced rate Uses UKG/Kronos for timekeeping No validated parking available at Boston locations; public transportation or paid parking required American Traveler Job ID P-723721.
