OBX Elite Exteriors is looking for a dependable, motivated, and hands-on Field and Operations Coordinator to join our fast-growing exterior remodeling team on the Outer Banks. This position bridges the gap between field crews, office staff, and customers, offering an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys variety, takes pride in project management, and wants to grow with a company. This position is initially offered as a 1099 independent contractor, with the long-term goal of transitioning the role to a full-time W-2 position as the company expands.

Responsibilities

• Assist with construction project oversight and job site coordination.

• Perform minor exterior repairs and small roofing service jobs.

• Conduct property inspections, insurance assessments, and document findings.

• Coordinate field operations and material delivery with office staff.

• Support sales representatives with customer appointments and follow-up.

• Communicate professionally with homeowners and clients.

• Operate company drone for roof inspections with training available.

• Run business-related errands and assist with daily operational needs.

• Maintain accurate project documentation and progress reports.

• Help ensure home improvement projects are completed efficiently.

• Represent the company with professionalism and integrity.

Qualifications

• Self-motivated and dependable worker with strong attention to detail.

• Organized and comfortable working both independently and as part of a team.

• Friendly, professional, and effective at customer service.

• Able to adapt to changing priorities and fast-paced operational needs.

• Comfortable using computers, smartphones, and basic field software.

• Willing to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.

• Able to lift construction materials and perform physical tasks as needed.

• Valid driver license with a clean driving record.

Preferred Experience

• Roofing or construction industry background.

• Home improvement project management or hands-on trade experience.

• Property inspections or damage assessment.

• Customer service or sales support.

• Operations coordination or logistics.

• Drone operation or possession of an FAA Part 107 certification.
