Compensation Our total compensation ranges from $302,000 to $324,000 annually, including a 14.2% employer contribution to your 401(k). A $30,000 moving stipend/sign‑on bonus is offered to facilitate relocation. Paid time off includes 7.6 weeks (38 days) of vacation, personal leave, CME time and paid holidays, plus twelve sick days annually (96 hours) earned monthly. Responsibilities Performs preoperative evaluation by reviewing staff notes, progress notes, lab work, and patient histories to determine the most appropriate anesthetic management. The CRNA may order additional analyses, consultations, lab work, and peri‑anesthetic medications as warranted. Monitors functioning of all equipment, induces general and/or regional anesthesia using appropriate procedures and methods, and manages the anesthetic procedure by monitoring indicators such as blood pressure, heart rate, EKG, blood loss, patient position, pulmonary compliance, and arterial blood gases. Adjusts anesthesia as required and informs other medical personnel of all necessary developments. Oversees recovery from anesthesia by observing indicators in the operating room and post‑anesthesia recovery room, performs post‑operative evaluation, and documents in staff notes, anesthesia records, and patient charts. Work Environment and Level of Frequency Nearly continuously: Office environment. Often: Exposure to infectious disease, air or skin exposure to oils or other cutting fluids, hazards including proximity to moving mechanical parts, moving vehicles, electrical current, working on scaffolding and high places, or exposure to chemicals. Physical Requirements and Level of Frequency Nearly continuously: Hearing, listening, talking, walking. Often: Repetitive hand motion (e.g., typing), standing. Seldom: Bending, reaching overhead. Minimum Qualifications Certification by the American Association of Nurse Anesthetists (AANA) as a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA); current registered nurse licensure in the state of Utah; and demonstrated human relation and effective communication skills. The CRNA certification requires completion of an AANA‑approved curriculum, 24 months of concurrent practicum experience (or equivalence), and passing scores on a national exam. Bi‑annual rectification is contingent on continuing professional practice plus 40 hours of continuing education units. All patient‑sensitive employees must be immunized according to CDC standards and hospital policy, with exemptions only for documented medical contraindications or religious beliefs that object to vaccinations. #J-18808-Ljbffr
