FP&A Manager

Manager, Financial Planning & Analysis Private Equity-Owned Manufacturer | Greater Hartford Area (Hybrid with Flexibility) Vaco is working with a client company seeking a strategic and hands‑on FP&A Manager to partner with senior leadership in driving financial planning, forecasting, and performance analysis. This role plays a key part in supporting growth initiatives, including M&A, while delivering insights that guide business decisions across the organization. Key Responsibilities Lead annual, quarterly, and long‑range planning and forecasting processes Build and maintain financial models to support strategic initiatives and investments Analyze business performance, KPIs, and variances; provide actionable insights to leadership Partner cross‑functionally with Operations, Sales, Marketing, R&D, and corporate teams Support M&A activities including financial modeling, due diligence, and integration efforts Develop reporting, dashboards, and data structures to enhance decision‑making Contribute to enterprise projects, ensuring alignment, execution, and timely delivery Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics (MBA preferred) 5+ years of progressive finance experience with strong FP&A focus Manufacturing experience strongly preferred Advanced financial modeling and analytical skills Experience with ERP systems and BI tools (e.g., Power BI) a plus Strong communication skills with ability to influence cross‑functional stakeholders Why Join Us High‑impact role with direct exposure to senior leadership Opportunity to support strategic growth and acquisitions Collaborative, fast‑paced environment with hybrid flexibility Pay Transparency Notice Determining compensation for this role (and others) at Vaco/Highspring depends upon a wide array of factors including but not limited to the individual's skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, office location and other geographic considerations, as well as other business and organizational needs.
