Description We currently have an opening for a Buyer in our purchasing department, working out of the Carey or Lewis Center office .If you have past experience in purchasing and are looking for that perfect work/home life balance, this position is for you. This is a full time position with a favorable 1st shift schedule in an office environment! Duties will include:
- Sourcing materials, supplies, equipment and services
- Solicit for bids all materials, supplies, equipment and services
- Product submittals
- Subcontract Agreements
- Close-Out Documents
- Negotiating pricing, freight and terms
- Additional tasks as assigned
- 1 year experience in a purchasing department (preferred)
- Materials Procurement Background
- Basic computer skills (Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.)
- Must be punctual, flexible and reliable
- Negotiating Skills
- Materials/supplies knowledge in the construction field is a PLUS !
