HVAC Construction Sales Representative Position Summary The HVAC Construction Sales Representative is responsible for developing and managing relationships with mechanical contractors, general contractors, developers, and building owners to drive profitable HVAC & plumbing construction projects. This mid-level role focuses on project-based sales, territory growth, and long‑term account management while collaborating with estimating, engineering, and operations teams. Key Responsibilities Sales & Business Development: Identify, pursue, and close HVAC & plumbing construction opportunities within an assigned territory Develop new contractor and GC relationships while expanding existing accounts Track projects through planning, bidding, and award phases using a CRM software Project & Bid Management: Support bid and proposal development with estimating and engineering teams Review plans, specifications, and scopes of work Assist with pricing strategy and negotiations Relationship Management: Serve as primary point of contact for customers Build long‑term trust with decision-makers Cross-Functional Coordination: Coordinate with project managers and operations for smooth handoff Communicate schedules, scope, and expectations Sales Administration: Maintain CRM records and sales forecasts Meet assigned revenue and margin targets Required Qualifications 3–7 years of HVAC or mechanical construction sales experience Strong knowledge of HVAC & plumbing systems and construction workflows Experience with construction drawings and bid processes Excellent negotiation and communication skills Valid driver’s license Preferred Qualifications Experience selling to mechanical contractors or GCs Familiarity with CRM platforms Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or Construction Management Compensation & Benefits Competitive base salary with commission Vehicle allowance or mileage reimbursement Health, dental, vision, and retirement benefits Paid time off and holidays Benefits: Medical/Dental/Vision Insurance 401k with Employer Contributions PTO Paid Holidays Employee Assistance Program Long-term Disability Short-term Disability Flexible Spending Plan USA Mechanical & Energy Service is proud to be an Equal Employment Opportunity employer.
