Software Engineer - Commerce

Responsibilities

• Build reliable, secure, and scalable software solutions using modern cloud-based paradigms.
• Design, iterate, and evolve distributed software solutions while balancing privacy, security, reliability, and product needs.
• Build backend services and systems with strong compliance and auditing requirements.
• Build and support Kubernetes-hosted services across multiple tenants.
• Develop cloud services using languages such as C#, Python, or Java.
• Work with distributed systems, data pipelines, and APIs.
• Participate in ongoing training on privacy, ethics, and security.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience building production-quality software in a team setting.
• Experience building backend services or systems with strong compliance and auditing requirements.
• Experience building cloud services with C#, Python, or Java.
• At least 3 years of experience working on modern cloud-native platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.
• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science or a related field.
• Knowledge or experience designing and using distributed systems, data pipelines, and APIs.
• Big Data technology experience is preferred.
• InfraOps or DevOps experience is preferred.
• Experience working as part of distributed teams is a plus.
