REHABILITATION AIDE

Job TitleUnder the direct supervision of licensed clinical staff, assists the therapists in routine tasks for therapeutic treatment of patients. Assists the department supervisor/manager in coordinating the overall department's function and maintenance.Compensation Pay Range: $18.20 - $26.00Clerical Duties: Performs clerical duties to assist with daily operations of the department including scheduling, answering phones, calling patients, inventory, photocopying, filing, medicare and CPM tracking, data collection, mail and faxes, etcEnvironment and Department Maintenance/Infection Control: Assists in the maintenance of the department's overall physical environment and infection control including cleaning equipment, temperature monitoring, pool chemistry, linen supply, area inspectionsTreatment: Provides treatment to assigned patients as appropriate under the direct supervision of clinical staff.Documentation: Completes all documentation of services per department standardsBilling: Enters daily charges in a timely and accurate manner according to department standardsTechnology: Embraces technological solutions to work processes and practicesEssential Functions (Cont.)Technology and Learning: Participates in continued learning and possess a willingness and ability to learn and utilize new technology and procedures that continue to develop in their role and throughout the organization.Embraces technological advances that allow us to communicate information effectively and efficiently based on role.Job RequirementsMinimum Education - Preferred: High School diploma/GED preferred.Minimum Work Experience: One (1) year healthcare–related experience preferred. Previous rehabilitation experience desirable. Previous coursework, participation in work or volunteer experience in the area of health, fitness or athletics requiredRequired Classes/Skills: BLS - Basic Life SupportSchedule: Mondays 1045-715pm, Tuesdays and Thursdays 930-6pm, Wednesdays and Fridays 730-4pm
