Travel Nurse RN - Med Surg - $1,745 per week

Job Overview Travel Registered Nurse (RN) – Medical Surgical (Med Surg) assignment in Decatur, Texas for 13 weeks starting 08/03/2026. Hourly shift: 12‑hour nights; 36 hours per week (3 shifts). Assignment paid for travel nurse pay structure, with tax‑free stipend (amount to be determined). Responsibilities Provide nursing care on the Med Surg Specialty 4th floor and Med Surg 5th floor units. Conduct telemetry monitoring and patient management. Initiate and manage IVs, medications, and other interventions. Float to inpatient rehab, emergency department and progressive care units as required. Collaborate with charge nurse, physicians, and interdisciplinary team. Qualifications Valid RN license in Texas. ACLS and BLS certification (NIH Stroke Scale acceptable). Experience in Med Surg, telemetry monitoring and routine IV starts. Ability to work night shifts, weekend shifts and 12‑hour rotations. Strong time‑management and communication skills. Preferred Qualifications Experience with cardiac recognition. Experience in IV starts. Benefits Private housing or generous housing allowance.
